The Peacocks’ Spring frolics (photo-story)
I’m lucky enough to be a regular visitor to Corsham Court, a stately home in Wiltshire, England. And in the grounds are an extended family of peacocks. My last visit was in April and I captured these photos of their antics one lunch time. I’ll let the pictures tell the story.
I’ll have to visit one day – not too far from me. We were once offered a peacock when we had a big garden in Spain – but try as we might we could not catch it all day.
I hope you can go one time. The gardens behind the house which are open to the public from time to time, are stunning in a wild way. With trees that are truly ancient. I’ve heard that peacocks can be vicious but I’ve never had any trouble from this lot. Your peacock story made me smile.
